How are WiSite hospital websites connected to WiDocs?

Last updated 2026-10-01
Key takeaway

WiDocs is a medical and health information platform written directly by doctors and health professionals, operated by SABANA MEDIA together with WiSite. If a doctor is registered as a WiDocs Medical Leader and writes columns, those columns are connected automatically to the doctor profile and column list of the hospital website built with WiSite. The original columns stay on WiDocs; the website shows the title and summary and links to the original.

01

Where does the website change once connected?

Connections are made doctor by doctor. Only doctors verified by WiDocs are connected; doctors who are not connected keep showing only the profile entered on the website, as before.

  • Doctor profile: a "WiDocs Medical Leader" label and a list of columns written by that doctor
  • Column list: the "WiDocs medical knowledge columns" collecting the connected doctors' columns, with each card linking to the original on WiDocs
  • Information for search engines: the doctor's structured data marks their WiDocs profile address as the same person
  • Footer: a link to the hospital's page on WiDocs' hospital finder (Docsmap), if the hospital information is registered
02

Why we link instead of copying the original

When the same text exists in two places, search engines pick only one as the representative and show the other less. Keeping the original in one place on WiDocs and having the hospital website show the connection, that the doctor who wrote it works at this hospital, is better for both sites.

Text you write directly on the website (condition and symptom guides, notices) builds up separately inside the hospital's own domain.

03

How do I connect?

WiDocs gives the final approval for the connection. This is to prevent someone from impersonating a doctor to connect.

  • The doctor joins WiDocs as a Medical Leader and writes columns
  • On their WiDocs My Page, they connect the hospital website address
  • Once WiDocs verifies the doctor, it is reflected on the website automatically
04

Hospitals actually connected

The column lists of Hana ENT Hospital, Songdo First Internal Medicine Clinic and Plantin Dental Clinic (all in Korean) are run with WiDocs columns.

On October 1, 2026, when we searched for 「위닥스」 (WiDocs) on Naver, the column lists of these three hospitals appeared on the first page along with the official WiDocs site. Search results change constantly, so this is not a promise of visibility.

05

If you want to see WiDocs on one page

WiSite has built WiDocs at a glance (in Korean), a single page summarizing WiDocs columns, WiDocs Talk and Docsmap.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use WiSite without joining WiDocs?

Yes. The integration is optional. If you do not connect, the column area is run with text the hospital writes directly on the website.

Are WiDocs columns copied onto the website as they are?

No. The website shows only the title and summary and links to WiDocs for the original.

If we have several doctors, do they all have to be connected?

No. Only doctors registered with WiDocs are connected, and the other doctors' website profiles stay as they are.

Are WiDocs and WiSite the same company?

Both services are operated by SABANA MEDIA.
